During this private tour of the idyllic countryside in the north of Holland, we drive through and visit quaint little villages, where it feels as though you are traveling back in time
We would like to introduce ourselves. We are two local guides from the north of Holland. Esther grew up in a windmill and, as we say in Holland, is an original miller's daughter. Her parents still live in a windmill. Maaike's grandfather was a miller. When she was a child, she loved to visit her grandparents at the windmill.
As both of us grew up in and around windmills, we know everything about them. It's in our family genes. We have great stories that we would love to share with you!

Amazing tour. Esther was our guide. He local knowledge was amazing, she also shared personal stories & photos which made the experience & understanding of windmills so much better... Incredible cheeses to try, clog makeing was a great experience.
